I'm still hoping for some blue eggs, but I'm so excited to finally get a colored egg, that I'll settle for green. Well, kind of turquoise. The other eggs are the various shades of brown that we regularly get.
I had just about decided that my Americaunas weren't really what they were supposed to be, but I guess they are and it just took them longer to start laying than the other hens.

I've ordered some Araucana/Ameraucana chicks to arrive in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to have some pretty colored eggs from them.
